At Blessings in a Backpack, we believe that every school-aged child in America should have the nourishment needed to learn and grow. As a leader in the movement to end childhood hunger, Blessings in a Backpack strives to ensure children do not go hungry on the weekends by empowering individuals and communities to take meaningful action. Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, our dedicated staff spans the country, working across a variety of roles and departments, such as programming, fund development, marketing, food solutions, and accounting and analytics. We are actively seeking individuals who are passionate about shaping their careers around our mission of providing nourishing weekend meals to children facing food insecurity.
